Healthcare
Health organizations often face barriers in capturing community-level outcomes, coordinating across partners, and embedding equity into system design. Sowen provides the strategic and data infrastructure needed to close gaps, evaluate programs, and drive equitable health impact on communities, patients, families, and caregivers.
What We Do
We work with health nonprofits, care-providers, innovators, and funders to define strategies, integrate data-driven processes, improve stakeholder engagement, and embed equity, data, and accountability.
Measuring impact and raising funding
In 2023, Prostate Cancer Research (PCR) launched the infopool, a user-friendly, culturally representative, and accessible online platform to support people living with prostate cancer. To capture the infopool’s true impact, PCR teamed up with Sowen. The results highlighted the life-changing impact the infopool was making for patients and their caregivers and the significant cost and time savings it had on healthcare professionals.
Healthcare Access in Underserved Communities
The Sowen team worked to identify and aggregate multiple data from private and public sectors and applied Machine Learning techniques to assess audience segmentation, analyze current and future community needs, assess competitor presence, and model future demand, cost vs. benefit, and service delivery in optimal locations.
Driving Innovation in Population Health
Kings College of London’s Institute for Population Health was created to better understand and combat disparities, answer challenges, and promote positive health outcomes in urban environments. Sowen was brought in to drive multiple work streams that helped establish the institute, identify and build key partnerships, identify and secure funding, and design a strategic roadmap to drive the organization in it’s first -5 years.
